Easy Rolo Turtle Recipe (So Yummy!)

I saw this recipe last year and it looked so easy that we just "winged it" this year. Our family loves turtles candies -- the chocolate, caramel, and tasty pecans. And who doesn't love salty pretzels with sweet chocolate over the top?

This recipe if so stinkin' easy that you'll feel guilty for not slaving all day to make them. Since it will take you less than 20 min. from start to finish, you can even use the toaster oven.

Here are the steps:
  1. Place mini pretzels (I used the grid kind) on a baking sheet.
  2. Set an unwrapped Rolo candy on top. (I bought the ones at the checkout counter so I wouldn't have to unwrapped them and they were BIGIF.) Bake at 250-degrees for about 4 minutes, just to soften the Rolos.
  3. Add a pecan half to the top, smoosh down gently and put back in the oven.
  4. Bake again (250-degrees) for an additional 5 minutes to toast the pecans a bit.
That's it! The result is sweet, salty, fast, and super easy. These make awesome last-minute gifts for the neighbors!!
