UPDATE: Stay tuned for another chance to win delicious Yoplait products! Subscribe (upper-left corner) to be the first to know when the new giveaway begins!
I was first introduced to Yoplait's new Yo-Plus products a little over a month ago and was immediately drawn to the nutritional benefits: good source of fiber, calcium, vitamins A & D, and live and active probiotic cultures. With Yoplait's "Love it or It's Free" promise and a money-saving coupon, I decided to try one of my favorite flavor combinations -- Blackberry Pomegranate. YUM!! The flavor was a perfect tart/sweet and the creaminess completely surprised me! Our family has since eaten our way through several Yo-Plus packs enjoying all of the flavors.
When I was asked if I wanted to give Yoplait's new Yo-Plus flavor, Blueberry Acaí, a try I didn't hesitate. I have been hearing about the great benefits of the Acaí berry and we are blueberry nuts around here!
Blueberry Acaí Yo-Plus offers the same great benefits as all the yummy favors produced by Yoplait, but we were delighted by the mini blueberries buried inside our creamy yogurt cups. It had a gentle sweetness that could easily be enjoyed for breakfast, as a snack, in smoothies, or even as a healthy dessert. My daughter was a big fan! :)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now, THREE lucky readers will get to become big fans too!
Yoplait has generously offered 3 readers a chance to win one of three yogurt prize packages!!
Each prize pack includes:
- A Coupon good for a FREE 4-pack of Yoplait Yo-Plus yogurt
- A BPA-free water bottle
- A pocket-size journal - great for keeping track of your nutritional and fitness goals
ReplyDeleteTo avoid snacking on my toddlers snacks all day, I started setting aside a baggie of carrots and pretzels in the morning to work through during the day.
Even though I'm not a big veggie fan, I drink a glass of V8 first thing in the morning before I hop on the treadmill. I find that I'm more likely to eat vegetables throughout the day if I get a jump start on them in the a.m.
ReplyDeleteI eat prunes daily to keep myself regular.
ReplyDeleteI try to drink at least 100 ounces of water a day and buy 100 calories packs for a snack that is still tasty.
ReplyDeleteI start my day with fruit every day. It digests quickly eaten alone and keeps my stomach feeling healthy. I also love to run, so that's easy for me (as long as it's not snowy out).
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteI try to count the colors in my fruit and veggie diet and make it a game. How many red? orange? yellow? Blue? It makes me eat healthier.
I start every day with yogurt topped with fruit and ground flax seed. The toughest part of staying healthy is fitting in enough vegetables…so I keep them available in small bags, take them to work, put them out as appetizers while cooking dinner. I make ¾ of our plate consist of veggies and whole grains..the rest is a protein. Eating foods high in calcium is also an important part of a woman’s healthy diet. Much of the secret is buying fresh and keeping it visible in the refrigerator and on the counter…having it handy is half the battle.
ReplyDeleteDaily exercise is tough when I work, so I walk the stairs at work two times more than I need to and am looking to form a lunch walking group. I’m also starting to do a 30 minute walk before dinner…in order to enjoy a glass of wine (for medicinal purposes of course!) This was much easier when I had a dog!
Staying healthy is a lifestyle…small steps over time add up to habits.
I try to incorporate eating healthy fish at least once a week to get our Omega 3 Fatty Acids! What a great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI walk 3miles a day and i eat yogurt everyday!! LUV IT!!!
ReplyDeletePlease enter me! I am taking up walking the dogs TWICE a day (just before they eat each time) which is keeping both them and me healthy! I’m also starting to eat breakfast each day which I never did before.
ReplyDeleteOne thing I do to stay healthy is to only shop in the outer aisles of the grocery store. This helps me to purchase fresh fruits and veggies, fresh baked bakery goods and local bulk dry items. I also avoid preservatives and processed foods.
ReplyDeleteI’m subscribed to your list. Please enter me in the Yoplait giveaway. Thanks!
ReplyDeletePlease enter me into your drawing.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to stay healthy by going to the gym as a goal of 6 days a week, with giving myself sundays off for our worship, and family activities. I'm hoping to also learn to eat right with a more balanced diet. I know these ideas will help me to feel better and give me more energy.
I've been making my own lunch and taking it to the office. It helps me to avoid take out with the rest of the girls at lunch and it's a while lot healthier.
ReplyDeleteI try to keep junk out and healthy snacks on hand at all times. That way, I'm not tempted!
ReplyDeleteI try & stay away from junk food but, on Saturday I do allow myself something sweet, and I eat a fatty (normal) meal. I learned if you deprive yourself totally you'll eat more junk knowing you can't have it. I also eat everything in Wheat like pasta, bread, and rice. I buy this powder at the health food stores it's a green powder full of veggies and fruits but, now Walmart super center has it already made up in 32oz bottles which is easier. And did you know that one Kiwi fruit has more vitamin C and more Potassium than a bag full of oranges and Banana, so I eat lots of Kiwi's. I also try and walk and I do little arm and twisty exercises while watching T.V. I have these Bally one pound weights that fit in the palm of my hands so I use them a lot. Thanks for such a wonderful giveaway & I too am a blueberry nut..lol
ReplyDeleteI have actually just gone through the cupboards (today) and gotten rid of almost all the junk food. I then went to our local Costco and stocked up on cottage cheese, sweet peas, peppers, cherry tomatoes, bananas and apples. When I came home, I brought out my small tupperware containers and got all the "good food" into serving sizes that are easy to grab from the fridge.
