FREE Fishing Day

We love to fish but we don't keep a fishing license here in AZ, since we usually do most of our fishing in the summer in Wisconsin. But, thanks to FREE Fishing Days, we will get to spend a fun day out without worrying about getting a fishing license.

This would be a great opportunity to have a family day out or the perfect time introduce a husband, wife, child, or friend to fishing!

Many states use the first weekend in June, but you'll have to check with your state's Game & Fish Department for your FREE days. Some states still require special stamps to fish for trout, salmon, etc. on free fishing days or restrict free fishing to freshwater/saltwater. Other states allow free fishing year-round to disabled veterans, senior citizens, children, etc. Check out this site for some more information.

Also, look into National Hunting and Fishing Day in late September.
