What to do with my FREE Pineapples...

So, I'm super excited about the FREE Pineapples I got this week at Fry's (thanks to the Del Monte printable and Fry's double coupons)... I usually let my pineapples and melons sit around for a while until I get enough energy to cut them up. Let's face it -- they're messy and take a little more work than washing some grapes or peeling a banana.

While snooping around on Amazon I found this set of THREE Pineapple Easy Slicer on sale for now $10.97 $6 with FREE Super Saver Shipping. Since they're normally $14.99 and they got great reviews, I went ahead and picked them up. ** Price went up on Amazon... glad I got it for so cheap!

**UPDATE (again):
I found this one (same one just not in a set of 3, but who needs 3 anyway?) for $9.99 with FREE Super Saver Shipping on orders of $25 or more! Check out their Outlet for some great deals and to reach the $25 mark for FREE Shipping. The 40% Kashi Deal or Special K Deal would be a good one to add on!

Don't forget to keep the inner core -- if you chop it up and rub the pieces on a clean face you'll have an incredibly AWESOME facial! ;)

Now I just need to find an awesome deal on a mango slicer...

By the way, does anyone have any super yummy recipes using pineapple?

  1. I totally agree about getting the energy to cut up produce and such! So did the pineapple slicer work as good as it seems to in your photo?

  2. Mine didn't come yet (I just ordered the set)... that's someone's photo on Amazon but I'm hoping mine looks as easy! Probably not, but it's gotta be easier that my current "method." LOL

One of my girlfriends has one ( I think a Pampered chef one?) and she said they really are easy. Here's hoping... :)

  4. How do you see it for $6.00 with free shipping? I just checked, and there's one for 10.00 with no free shipping. Did they maybe see out?

  6. Darn it! I'm not sure that's such a deal to try something...what do you think? It's $16.37 total to ship.

  7. That seems high... it will probably drop down again. (I'll keep my eye on it.) Pampered Chef's is around $18, I think. I'm sure it will go down again.

  8. I found one (not a set of 3, but who needs 3 anyway?) for $9.99 plus free shipping. I'll update the post to include the link!

  9. I see the "one" you're talking about for 9.99, but in order to get the free shipping, I need to spend 25.00, right? What else could I get (and need) for a good deal?

  10. I like the 40% off Kashi or Special K deal... I placed the Kashi Moroccan Curry 12pk. into my cart, subscribe for the 6 month auto-ship (which I'll cancel), used the promo code and it came to $19.xx. So something like that may work...

I updated the post to include the grocery deals link.

What are you in need of? Kids stuff?
