How does it work?
As a panel member, Homescan will provide you with a hand-held scanner. Every time you or members of your household shop, you’ll use the scanner to scan the barcodes on all of your purchases.

Do you know how the data is 'sent' to them?
ReplyDeleteI signed up a few years ago and the method was to hold the scanner up to your phone while it made strange, fax-like noises. It didn't work with VoIP or mobile phones.
Have they switched to a web-based system?
I'm not sure, DCDaisy. That's a good question. You would think they would be up with the technology now.
