My Grocery Loot This Week

Even though I have more-than enough fresh produce, milk, eggs etc. to get me through another week, I wanted to head in to Fry's for their sweet deals this week!! The apples were too good to pass up, so I hit my limit on those so I can make applesauce, Dried apples, apple juice...

I bought waaay more crap-o-la than I EVER do, but I had to pick up some candy for the trick-or-treaters, FREE fruit snacks to hand out as well (I'm also giving out the Yummy Earth lollipops to the little ones), some FREE cookies for the Hubster to munch on while he's handing out the candy that I've told him not to touch, and the more-sugar-than-we'd-like-yogurt that we like to treat ourselves to for desserts, mix in with smoothies, or mix with the healthier-stuff.

To be perfectly honest, I could have lived without a lot of these purchases: the bacon, the popcorn, the juice, the brownie mixes... but when prices are this cheap and I know I can stockpile these items, I'm OK making the purchase. (P.S. The Ghiradelli brownies look so yummy!)

On to what I bought... (and, like I said, lots of junk IMO -- I was almost embarrassed in the grocery store!)

Who's that cute little face popping out over there?

See what I mean...J-U-N-K. Except for the apples, cough drops and popcorn, I guess.

  1. How does Cellfire work? I have tried to sign up, but I am not sure if I am doing it right, how to load things on it, and how to use it once I get to the store.
    Thanks!

  2. Thanks, Christin! She's such a ham! :)

Edith, just register your cell. phone # and store club card # with Cellfire. Then, use your cell# and year of birth to log-in. In your account, click on "deals" then click on "Add to card" button under the deals you want to add to your card. That's it. When you go to the store and swipe your club savings card, the cellfire discounts will (should) come off automatically. You can choose to print off the coupons you have saved onto your card so you'll remember..shortcuts works the same way. HTH!
