Operation Christmas Child

One of the main reasons that I take a frugal approach in life is to show God that I am not only grateful & appreciative for what He has provided, but to be a good steward of what He has entrusted to us and to find ways to serve others with the multitude of blessings we have been given.

I look in our pantry and think, "Wow, we'll never grow hungry." (It can get pretty stuffed.)  But, the truth is, there are many, many people who are hungry. So many have so much less.  It breaks my heart.

Obviously, my heart aches to serve all who are in need, but especially children. That's why I love being able to donate during Operation Christmas Child.

If you have never participated in Operation Christmas Child before, let me press upon your heart to do so this year.  I truly believe that God has the power to take one tiny shoebox and transform someone's life with it!

It's so easy to put together a heartfelt, fun shoebox of goodies and you never know to whom or where God will deliver it!  Just watch and see.... and go HERE to learn how you can help!

  1. Thank you so much for sharing this. I'm going to begin the shoe boxes as a tradition this year and each year to come with my girls. :)
