{life is just gettin' in the way}

My laptop is running sloooow, probably because I'm downloading about 800 pictures from my camera.

My child's normally squeaky-angelic voice sounded more like Demi Moore's this morning, so we're working our way through this cough/sniffle phase. {it's actually really mild - she sounds worse than she is, I think}

We have an open house at Miss E's new school for next year; Dad is coming over to help with the construction of a new closet area; I'm planning a birthday party, Thanksgiving and trying to wrap up Christmas shopping and help my Dad with a gazillion things. Not to mention trying to squeeze in a much-needed Dr. appointment.

Did I mention I started working again back in the classroom part time? It's only once a week at Miss E's school and on Sundays at church... and I love it.

And, on top of it, I just found out tonight that my friend and fellow teacher just passed away last night. {so sad}

I'm determine to soak up every second of this madness -- life is truly a blessing.
