I much prefer to shop online (I hate crowds), so most of my Christmas shopping is already donw thanks to all the great daily deal sites and coupon codes out there!
One of the best after-Christmas surprises, though, are the rebate checks that are dished out! I just wanted to remind all of you shoppers (and any new rebate users) to USE THOSE REBATE SITES!

How do they work?
Before you go directly to the website you need to make a purchase at, go to one of these rebate sites instead. Do a quick search for the website where you're shopping (to make sure they participate) and use the "Shop" button on the rebate site to be redirected to your store. This will track your purchase, allowing your % cash back to be deposited into your rebate account (usually within 6 weeks).
Also, these rebate sites offer coupon codes and specials that you may not find elsewhere. Every little bit of cash back adds up and, before you know it, you'll have a nice check!
For example, our friends needed to buy new blinds and they saved $38 ($18 cash back + $20 off code) simply by using Shop at Home.
So, don't forget to go through these sites FIRST! It's like losing money if you don't! :)
