Playing the Walgreens Game

Walgreens is just down the street from us and one of our best sources for getting FREE items. I don't remember the last time when I had to pay for shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, and razors!
  • Walgreens Coupons - Walgreens offers monthly EasySaver Catalog rebate booklets (ES) , which can be picked up in the store. Inside these little booklets are a TON of monthly coupons, which can be combined ('stacked') with manufacturer coupons. Keep your eye out for sale items -- often times you can catch a sale item, combine it with Walgreens ES coupon and a coupon from the paper. (Great way to get FREE or super-cheap items!)
  • Register Rewards - Walgreens Register Rewards are Catalina coupons which print up separately from your register receipt after you purchase qualifying items. The Register Rewards can be used like cash on your next purchase. When looking through the Walgreens ad take note of which items qualify. Use coupons on those items to get cheap or FREE items.
Visit Walgreens for additional details, current store ads/ES deals, or to find a location near you.

  2. Sorry, skvenus. I believe Walgreens canceled that program at the end of last year... sorry, I didn't update this post! They do still have their coupon booklets in the front of the store (usually near the ads) and those coupons can be matched with manufacturer coupons as well.
