Sad Day for Fry's Shoppers...

I just got notice (via the bottom of my receipt) that effective 12/29/10 Fry's will no longer be accepting competitor's coupons and manufacturer coupons up to $1.  They will continue to double coupons.

This is sad news since I have loved shopping (and saving) at Fry's.  I will continue to shop there anyway, though, because they do have great prices and are generally very coupon-friendly.

Thanks, Fry's, for a great run and for helping all of us couponers stretch our dollars!

    i am SO SO bummed!! i live in anthem and only have frys, safeway (big time coupon haters at this store), and walmart. so it's either frys or walmart...
    from your experience, do you think i'd have more success at walmart with coupons at face value and lower starting prices (supposedly), or frys with doubling coupons?
