Recently I was given the Wii game: Hasbro Family Game Night 3 to try out! We considered it an early Christmas present and began playing right away! I was immediately excited to play Wii-versions of some of my favorite board games including Game of Life, Clue, Twister, Mouse Trap and Yahtzee!
Let me tell you, we had so much fun and were so surprised at how the makers brought these games to the screen!
I was so curious how Twister would play out but it's all about coordination as you watch the beats on the screen then hit the correct buttons that it shows. Although I wish it actually involved moving our bodies (not just our fingers), it's a lot harder than it sounds!
Life and Mouse Trap were also fun -- definitely allow a lot of time for these... just like Life, the board game, it's long but fun! Clue was one of my favorite movies growing up, so it naturally become a loved game and the Wii version was very engaging and well-thought out. We initially played the "quick" version {because we were playing with a 5 year-old}. One little note, there is a lot of reading involved in all of these games so definitely not something to leave to the smaller kiddos.
My favorite, and the most addicting, was Yahtzee! I could have played that for hours!
You can purchase Hasbro Family Game Night 3 on Amazon marked down to $36.99 {and eligible for FREE one-day shipping).
